Job description

As a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Lead GWK) at the Regional Jet Center, you are the driving force behind the maintenance of our Embraer aircraft. You ensure that all maintenance activities in our hangar and at Schiphol run smoothly and efficiently. Thanks to your dedication and leadership, our aircraft are ready for departure—on time and in top safety condition.

In this role, you will lead a team of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and Mechanics on a daily basis. Together, you make sure the aircraft are returned to service on time, according to schedule, and in full compliance with the highest safety standards.

What will you do?

  • Perform inspection, modification, and maintenance work on various Embraer aircraft types (such as the E170, E175, E190, and E195).

  • Supervise and guide your team on the work floor.

  • Issue a Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) once the aircraft has been deemed fully airworthy.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the maintenance process.

  • Coach and support your team members in developing their technical skills.

  • Work in a 24/7 rotating schedule, averaging 35.4 hours per week.

Job requirements

  • A valid EASA Part-66 AML (B1 and/or B2).

  • Good command of technical English, both spoken and written.

  • You work independently and take initiative.

  • You are stress-resistant and safety- and compliance-focused.

  • You are a natural leader who can motivate others and keep a cool head under pressure.

You identify with the following competencies: initiative, flexibility, stress resistance, teamwork, customer focus, and interpersonal sensitivity.

What do we offer?

  • A gross monthly salary between €4,038 and €5,567.

  • A shift allowance of approximately €1,050 per month.

  • An AML allowance of €117 per month.

  • A skill allowance of up to €250 per month.

  • 8% holiday allowance and a year-end bonus of 8.33%.
