Job description
Welcome to Regional Jet Center
Our daily operation is supported by several specialized workshops, including the Sheet Metal Workshop. Here, we repair and restore aluminium components. When there’s less repair work, you’ll also be deployed on the hangar floor and work directly on the aircraft.
What will you do?
As a Sheet Metal Worker, you’ll mainly start in the workshop, but you’ll also regularly work on the aircraft in the hangar. You will work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Your tasks include:
Manufacturing, repairing, and modifying aircraft sheet metal on the apron, in the hangar, and in the workshop;
Assessing damage in accordance with regulations and determining the appropriate repair methods;
Carrying out repairs and modifications, both on-aircraft and in the workshop;
Reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications;
Measuring and marking sheet metal according to drawings and templates;
Cutting, bending, punching, drilling, and straightening sheet metal using metalworking machines (incl. presses, punch machines, and CNC equipment);
Grinding and polishing seams, joints, and rough surfaces;
Forming various alloys according to drawing specifications;
Checking the quality of products and installations to ensure compliance;
Certifying the airworthiness of repaired aircraft components;
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Job requirements
At least 3 years of relevant sheet-metal experience;
Knowledge of EASA laws and regulations;
Good command of both Dutch and English;
Holder of a Category B driving licence;
Must be an EU resident/citizen.
Note: You don’t need to possess every single skill or experience listed. We’re not looking for a “perfect” candidate—just talented and resourceful professionals.
What can you expect from us?
In addition to a challenging role within Europe’s largest Embraer MRO, we offer:
A base monthly salary of €3,454 – €4,422;
A shift allowance for working rotating shifts: approx. €1,050 gross per month;
A year-end bonus, annual profit share, holiday allowance, and travel expense reimbursement up to 75 km;
Standby travel benefits: fly at reduced rates when seats are available—also for your family;
Training and development opportunities;
A solid pension scheme;
A personal budget for vitality, career, and personal development;
27 Holiday days and 13 additional days off (ADV).
